Blue Jays at home. Facing the Rockies. Kevin Gausman on the bump. I like the Jays' chances.

Sorry in advance for jinxing them.

Paul Depodesta is a complete genius, and they've been game planning this series for months.  I believe Freeland was the guy pitching the 20-1 game in Denver.

I believe they have put everything humanly possible into this game.  Every pitch by Freeland will have perfect location and his series of pitches will have sequencing that has been planned for 7 months.

Every batter has gone into the simulation thing to learn Gaussman for 7 months.  They will know what is coming from the slightest tell.   They are out for revenge for the 20-1 game (or whatever it was) and by god, I do think they will get it.

The only positive is that our run-differential will go to like -20, and the Yankees will lose too today 2-1.  And will be leading us like by 30 runs in run-differential but tied in standing, and Michael Kay will lose his mind completely.

Please let this be a slaughter so Little can figure it out.  We are going to need a high leverage lefty for 162.

Schneider interview yesterday:

George and Vladdy are locked into the 1 and 3 spots, everything else is flexible

2 and 4 will change regularly depending on matchups and performance

What the hell was that challenge from Kirk. That was obvious and only on the first pitch of the AB. Baffling.

Losing a challenge and hitting into a double play has gotta be the worst AB of the season.

Challenges are extremely important/precious.

Do we think Kirk's belly is obstructing his view at judging balls/strikes as a hitter or should we be expecting Home Run Homer here? Lol

The Yanks have been Savants with the challenge system so far.  The Jays batters have been disappointingly bad at it.

Let Kirk bat 9th.

Too slow to bat 9th

Edit: We know Kirk can be way better than this obviously...

Still can’t get a big inning. Frustrating. Okamoto is 0-3 with the bases loaded the last two games, all strikeouts.
