Yeah if he has no issues, he likely could pitch in the semis or finals. Heard them say Skenes is lined up to pitch in the semis.

Have the Dominican's been tested yet? All there games have been against meh opponents and they crushed them. 

Japan has had some close games - Korea and Australia. Mexico was making things interesting against the US last night in the late innings thanks to Duran. I really think playing in pressure situations/games in the group stage can help for the knockout round. The Dominican haven't really had tough competition as of yet.

First test for them will be Venezuela tomorrow.

Also little note, some drama for the Mariners loll. Randy tried to shake the hand of Raleigh when he came up to bat and was denied, turns out Randy is pretty pissed about it the way he spoke to the media after the game.

Top 4 teams are going to move on, anyone can win this tournament out of them 4. I just want to see the Canadians advance from their pool for the first time.

Tonight doesn't really matter unless you want to entertain the pie in the sky idea of going 3-1 and winning the entire pool 

If they beat PR but lose to Cuba, I'll cry

Should be able to dispose of Cuba, on paper the offenses should not be close at all

Yea this would be nice. And maybe entices more pitching jumping on board for the next Classic. When you advance out of group you can on that and convince players maybe they could actually get to a final four in 2029. It doesn't always seem like it but more Canadians are playing in MLB than ever although you could argue the star power isn't as noticeable. This Lineup would look a lot different with Freddie Freeman hitting 3rd and Tyler Black on the bench.

They should probably choose an indoor venue next time. Seems like it rains in PR all the time.

Would be nice to see the WBC again at the Rogers Centre. Would probably be a big draw.
