I actually have Netflix and don’t have cable, so this works out for me, but huge misstep not to have this on over the air. They made a deal with NBC for Sunday Night Baseball. Should have just thrown in the HR Derby as well.

I might be in the minority, but I always preferred this format of the Derby. You could at least see and enjoy most of the home runs rather than the cameras not being able to pick up most of them in time in the previous format.

Seriously though, big respect.  Huge underdog, needing to better 11 home runs by the hometown hero in the final,  hitting 6 straight clutch homers to pull it off with 40,000 phans booing him and cheering every miss.  Ice in his veins.

That's one of the best HR Derby's I've ever seen.  Fantastic entertainment.

Correct sir. Within a 10 minute walk from my house. Former home of the Rookie affiliate of the Diamondbacks (Lethbridge Black Diamonds) back when the Pioneer league still had Canadian teams.

My wife's boss has billets for the team every year so they get a bunch of free tickets all season. Wife doesnt really care for baseball but she goes for the walk and the sun.
