Matthew Lenz Jays Centre Contributor Posted November 12, 2025 Posted November 12, 2025 The Toronto Blue Jays aren't resting on their laurels after an exciting postseason run that saw them bring the superpower Los Angeles Dodgers to the brink. After Bo Bichette elected free agency and Shane Bieber opted in to a team-friendly deal, the Blue Jays are in a position to be aggressive this offseason. From the General Manager meetings in Las Vegas, NV, Shi Davidi and Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet are reporting that the Toronto Blue Jays are "in every market". Citing multiple player agents, it's expected for it to "be easier for them to get players", and that the organization is "hungry" and "acting like big boys". While no players are named in the report, the Blue Jays have already been linked to Bichette, Kyle Tucker, Munetaka Murakami, and Pete Fairbanks. Additionally, Chris Bassitt has expressed interest in returning to the club. Do you think the Blue Jays will be aggressive this offseason? Let us know what you think in the comments! Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted November 12, 2025 Posted November 12, 2025 We hear this every year, but Ben and Shi are usually the ones pumping the brakes on this kind of talk. The fact that they’re not this time might mean something. Eat My Shatkins, Spanky__99, Stangstag and 1 other 4

Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted November 12, 2025 Posted November 12, 2025 Pretty exciting coming off that run knowing you already have (what looks like) a very good team coming back, but there is money to spend to make it even better, AND because of the recent success and Blue Jays nation being in the spotlight in a positive way, there is a very good chance the Jays will be able to actually land some difference makers this off season. Imagine being a team like… the Rays. You make the WS, then the very next year you are trading star players and crying poor. Rogers has definitely stepped it up in recent years with the payroll, and sweet-talkin Shapiro has a big part in that I feel.
