You just can't strand that many base runners and expect to win. Just to many bad at-bats in crucial situations.  You can call it bad luck because there was a lot of hard hit balls. But a lot of those hard hit balls were on the ground.

So many moments I wont be able to forget:

- Gimenez with a bullet to muncy 

- Hoffman 2 outs away

- Varsho utterly useless at the plate and cant hit a sac fly

- IKF as a pinch runner got a brutal jump and slid at home on a force play to slow him down

- Clement's ball that looked like it was about to fall

- Kirk needing a sac fly but hits into a double play

I'm sad for the players most of all.They must feel like s*** right now. Even hoffman was pretty good in the playoffs but he's probably going to get a bunch of hate from the fanbase. Hope he'll be okay.

game of inches,   if we had a manager that wud  get out of the way and a closer..... apalled, disgusted, i want to puke out the fibres of my being.... money talks and baseball walks.... 110% credit to the power of friendship crew , the players out did themselves, hoff excluded,...sry not sry... i hate baseball.....  great job players, .......       ....... now our hearts bleeed....... bo at 2nd, resign, beieber, get another ace starter.....get a closer and a set~up man,   and make max the manager.... don^t think ihave the heart for it to follow next year.... i'm getting too old for this shite riggs .....despite it all my forever respect to pof crew of uncommon men

I think I solved what will make me feel better about this.  I have decided we won and will always know that we won in my heart, I will tell it to every stranger I see too.  I don't care.  We did win

To the people wanting us to take solace in the fact that it was a great World Series, that actually makes it so much worse.

We had it. Up 3-2 going home. There were so many moments we should have won. And it slipped away.

I’m a Buffalo Bills fan. Do you think we get any respect for going to 4 straight super bowls? No, because they were all losses. So we’re a punchline.

Won’t ever get over this one. There’s more important things in life than sports obviously, but it’s just so unfair that this amazing community can’t just have one.

The bright side is, this team was good even without Bichette. We took the Dodgers to 7 games. They only lost 1 game for the entire rest of the playoffs. 

The areas that need improving are mainly a real closer, and likely a starter. You have to think Bichette is gonna want to stay and finish the job, but even if he doesn't, the emergence of Barger and Clement will help off set the loss and there's nowhere to go but up as far as defence if he leaves. 

Maybe we're a team players want to sign with now. A few tweaks here and there and this team is solid for 5+ years. Most of these guys are under team control for a while.

I thought IKF scored in real time but I think I zoned out that it was a force play. Him sliding into home on a force is just one more painful point to agonize over.
