Are we all stressed out yet? How are your fingernails doing?

Game 7 at Rogers Centre tonight will decide the World Series. The Dodgers forced tonight’s winner-take-all with a 3-1 victory in Toronto on Friday, setting up a marquee pitching matchup: Max Scherzer for the Blue Jays and Shohei Ohtani for the Dodgers. First pitch is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. Reports indicate Ohtani will start on three days’ rest.

Game 6 featured Yoshinobu Yamamoto working 6 innings of one-run ball before Los Angeles covered the final nine outs with Justin Wrobleski in the seventh, Roki Sasaki in the eighth, and Tyler Glasnow for the ninth. Glasnow recorded the save on three pitches, ending the game with a line-drive double play started by Kiké Hernández. Kevin Gausman started for Toronto.

Scherzer’s assignment gives Toronto a starter with extensive World Series history. He has started Fall Classic games with Detroit in 2012, Washington in 2019, and Texas in 2023, and he took the ball in the most recent Game 7 back in 2019. Scherzer will become the fourth pitcher to start multiple winner-take-all World Series games, joining Bob Gibson, Lew Burdette, and Don Larsen.

Ohtani is expected to start on short rest so he can remain in the game as a hitter after he leaves the mound. Under the two-way player usage rules, if he starts as a pitcher, he may continue as the designated hitter upon removal; if he were to enter only in relief and not finish the game on the mound, the Dodgers would forfeit the DH. Los Angeles has mapped out coverage behind him: Glasnow is lined up for bulk innings after throwing only three pitches in Friday’s save, Blake Snell is likely available in some capacity, and Sasaki, who threw 33 pitches with an up-down in Game 6, could be a leverage option.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. enters Game 7 with seven home runs and 28 hits across this postseason. Ernie Clement has provided high-contact output, batting .397 with a .947 OPS in the postseason. Alejandro Kirk has added power from the catcher spot with five postseason home runs and an .838 OPS. George Springer, who exited Game 3 with right-side discomfort, returned to the lineup for Game 6; Bo Bichette, activated for the Series after a left knee sprain, played the full Game 6 at second base and remains limited on the bases.

Did anyone think we'd be watching a Jays game in November when the season started?  This must be a first for the franchise?

Anything is possible tonight as those who have watched this crazy game for years are well aware.  We've got the crowd on our side and a madman on the mound so our chances are good.

One more good team effort and you're champions boys!  No matter what happens it's been a terrific ride this year!

Go Jays!!!!

How i see the pitching match up going tonight:

Scherzer (4 IP), Bieber (1 IP),  Varland (1 IP), Bassitt (1 IP), Hoffman (1 IP), Yesavage (1 IP)

Ohtani (3 IP), Glasnow (3 IP), Snell (1 IP), Wrosbleski (1 IP), Sasaki (1 IP)

Jays released some seats a bit after 11AM and f*** missed the first couple of releases after refreshing for the full hour between 10 and 11 haha.

Sec 133, Row 36, a single popped up but would have been $2200.

A lot of seats were popping up in Sec 539 but damn $1400 each so a pair would have cost $2800. I think TM increased the prices for this game, because for 500 level outfields, those are quite expensive.

Would like to see less from Max and 1 more from Bieber and just 1 from bassist.  Yesavage goes 1.  I don't think they'd use Trey to close, it's always going to be Jeff if we get there.

there was one time this season, ball was also stuck in the wall when blue jays were pitching and defending, it was during an away game on the right filed, Maybe in september?

Is it worth the risk to go with the lineup of:

Springer - Barger- Vladdy - Bo - Varsho - Kirk - Lukes - Clement - Gimenez

It’s time, fellas. One more game. Do or die, win or go home..whatever you want to say, this is the moment we’ve dreamed of since spring, hell, maybe since 1993. Every kid who grew up a fan of Toronto and tossed a ball against the wall is living through this team tonight. It’s been a ride…the heartbreaks, the magic, the hope…and it’s all led to this. So let’s rise one more time. For the team. For the fans. Let’s go, Jays.

I don’t see that as a risk, just flipping 2 spots. Likes has been good and puts up some good at bats, but Barger is on a heater
