How could all those mlb executives be this wrong? 21 of 22 surveyed picked the dodgers convincingly.  I guess there was league wide skepticism about the jays starters and bullpen. And perhaps the dodgers starters were overrated, going against a deep lineup like this.

What a site in the stadium

Kershaw is saying his goodbye's on the field taking pictures and hugging people, doesn't want to leave the field and rightly so........and in the stands a bunch of Jays fans singing O'Canada

What a game.

Credit where Credit is due.

John Schneider being his first managerial exposure under the brightest lights

He is learning from his mistakes

and by just staying calm this game and doing less than more was way more effective than any point this post season.

Well done.

one more.

Well the last two games he has not had too much stress

Let's not get ahead of ourselves though we still gotta win 1 of the next 2 games

Fangraphs bumps us up from 39 to 67%.  67% to 33% for the dodgers going in to game 1.

I became a Jays fan in 1988.  No internet.  No forums.  No chat groups.  However there was Jays talk with Bob 'boccat' McCowan which was actually kind of a version of this.    When did this group start?  Honestly I want to say almost 20 years ago.   I recall some of the posters that are still on this group posted on the Jays official forum at least as far back as the Aaron Hill years.

The MLB Forum went back to '96 I believe when it started. I joined that forum in '03. I was 15 in '88, hah.

I've followed since '79 at 6... Jays and Pirates(won the world series then)

The Dodgers just have so many elite players, you’d be hard-pressed to get any Baseball fan to pick the Jays over the Dodgers coming into this series.

I personally was predicting Dodgers to win in 6, and im so glad to be wrong.

Jays in 6 has a much nicer ring to it.

My first memories of baseball was the 77 NLCS against the Dodgers, terrible collapse, really made me hate the dodgers

Dodgers counting on their offense to score a ton of runs. If Yesavage pitches his 2nd best game (won't top his postseason debut) it should be an easy win unless Snell goes full Yamamoto

Well I was wrong, Yesavage did top his Yankees game

Not sure when I joined the MLB forum but it would’ve been mid 00’s. Was just thinking today how “our” message board has been through now 3 migrations and here we are a win away from the World Series

The betrayal. 🤣  I think we were all hopeful. But I tried to stay "realistic." Turns out, I was delusional.
