Yep needed to pivot and throw instead of an udnerhand toss

Or just go home for the force… and let Kirk try to get the out at first

bullpen let us down

Not like the bats have done anything. Yamamotto going for the complete game.

The Blue Jays believe that Varland is their best non-closer reliever, based on the way they have used him this season.

I get why you would argue why that's not the case, but let's just say it is. That was an extremely inappropriate situation in which to use him.

Down 3-1 in the 7th inning. Why not try to keep it at a 2 run game? I don't get your reasoning here. Use a good reliever to try to keep it there. They believe they can score two runs. You're not going to punt the game away there. Especially with a day off tomorrow.

What an absolutely f***ing ridiculous use of Jeff Hoffman. Completely indefensible.

Let him face his 3 batters and put in Little or something.

I don't think they want him sitting too long, and he wasn't used in game 1.

still need the bullpen to perform, can't always score 11 runs

Of course you try. It's not as if putting in Fisher or Little is akin to giving up. That being said, a manager should save what he sees as his best reliever for the most important situations. Our chance of winning in that situation is rather small and now we just burned him when he's pitched a ton lately.

Bichette needs to start ever game there

Just dumb having IKF start today.  If Bo's good enough to play 3 innings now then he could have easily started the game.  Typical overthinking BS.

I was not here for the start of the game, why wasn't he in the lineup?

Should have absolutely went home. Thats the whole point of having the infield in.

I think you should use them as often as possible in any close game situations. Its the World Series. They're all important, especially only down 2.
