A little bit. Barger has been awful since July, and can't hit LHP. Hell, JS pinch hit IKF for Barger vs LHP at points in September. I guess he didn't want to do it in the 3rd inning, but that was a very high leverage moment in the game.

He probably would have pinch hit for him if it wasn't the 3rd.  There rest of the pen is righties.  Bringing in Schneider was probably the right play there.  He hit a homer yesterday.  That bought him that AB.
