Yup... management/coaching staff get blame for starting IKF but its ultimately the players who choked. You have a 6-1 lead against a completely demoralized team and we gave them extra life in multiple innings. The players literally brought the Yankees back to life. HealthDream007 and Funky 2

We can argue about lineup decisions all you want and obviously the errors are a big problem, but the game was put into the Yankees hands when he couldn't get out of the 3rd inning. You need Bieber to pitch better for sure. But when he came out the game was still in control.

I mean, I guess DS could have made that error too but at least the Barger error would have been avoided. Either Clement catches it or Straw catches it. Ultimately it came down to Varland giving up 2 bombs. Errors happen, but the pitching couldn't cover for it. Funky and Stangstag 2

They use very advanced predictive models. Do you not want them to be an advanced metrics organization? I most certainly do. Brother they could still start Santander in that scenario. Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 Combination of very shaky defense. A horrible decision to let Judge beat you only to intentionally walk him later. Who knows you walk Judge maybe Bellinger or Rice get the job done but you make those guys beat you. You can't have Judge tie the game in that situation. But yea Barger catches that ball you don't even get to that point. s***** game. Come back and try to fight tomorrow.

Gen.Disarray Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 Well, nobody should have expected a sweep before this series started. Just win tomorrow and put this s*** to bed Stangstag and Kordesi 2
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 Im so glad we dont have a day off and get right back at it tomorrow. That was the most depressing loss for me since 2015 against KC.

thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 Would like to see Springer have a game tomorrow. He's been pretty silent in this series with the exception of the home run the other day with a huge lead. Gen.Disarray and Stangstag 2
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 Im so f***ing down. This hurt so much knowing how this could have been known as the Vladdy game/series. He came out like a f***ing boss tonight man. Gen.Disarray 1
bluejaysinternNo5 Verified Member Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 The Yankees were not going to get swept at home but I sure wish this loss was not as depressing. A good start from Bieber would have been ideal but starters have been gotten knocked out early. Now that the team has gotten used to the hostile environment of Yankee stadium during the playoffs they will tighten up. I wouldn't be surprised if the bullpen has their best showing tomorrow during the bullpen game after getting hit around two games in a row. Baseball is funny like that. Pinkfloid and Stangstag 2
Alejandro Murphy Verified Member Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 Breaks of the game in any sports. Luck went the Yankees way tonight. the ball hit the pole on the very dead center likely just a mere foot to go foul. Those two imbeciles who had their 15 seconds of fame run the field and got tackled may also have changed the momentum of the game. bottomline… Yankees still have to win two more games against our team Have faith but stay humble as a fan. Go Jays ! Kordesi, Gen.Disarray, Stangstag and 1 other 2 2
