Waste bullets in the playoffs? What's simple to understand is you don't take anything for granted in the playoffs. 12 run lead or 1 run lead, if you'd keep him in for one situation, you should keep him in for the other. Now all we've done is used a bunch of extra "bullets" in our bullpen.

It's day off tomorrow.  And Tuesday it's Bieber who start the game. So we can expect 6 innings from him, and be able use,Anthony,  Varland, Hoffman and Little who will have rested 2 days. Even Fisher,  Fluharty,  Rodriguez can have been used after 1 day off.

I don't think they wanted to give the Yankees extra looks at our better relievers. Then again, they pitched Hoffman yesterday so maybe I'm being too generous.
