Granted, they have the back end of the bullpen that they don't have to push it. If Yankees had a Whitlock type to go to in that instance, pulling Fried would not be as much of a problem.

There is no way you take Chrochet out of the game until he at least allows 1 base runner or runs up his pitch count in the 8th.  This was the way postseason baseball was meant to be played when you have a true ace.

Fried was clearly losing his command when Boone pulled him.  Right call.

And yet the guy who came on allowed 3 consecutive baserunners.  Ateast allow Fried to put on 1 baserunner before pulling him with the results he was achieving.

Just preparing myself in case it happens, I wont lose my s***.  Every playoff run the Jays have made very questionable moves.

We can't completely discount the possibility that Chapman at Yankees stadium in the postseason doesn't revert to some strange mid version of his past self.
