Gimenez's defence at SS takes some of the sting out of losing Bo but damn, we have to be able to put more than two runs up.  Still concerned but feel a bit better.

Certainly. Im kinds surprised they didn’t try anything. Honestly we got lucky it was the heart of the lineup i guess. Any other part of the lineup im sure they would’ve tried a squeeze play

Springer with a big hit after Kirk and Clement kind of screwed us with some poor hitting and baserunning. Fisher was fantastic in 2 innings with a Manfred Man on 2nd, easy MVP of the game.

Diaz is just a horrible ump. He has been for a long time. He was all over the place on both sides. Not bias, just really bad at his job

It was a very good debut. I wish people would save anointing him until he has a couple of seasons under his belt. He's barely finished drinking his first coffee and Buck is talking HOF. 

I wish the Sportsnet people would stop pumping him up and just let it play out. Manoah was the anointed one, until he couldn't throw strikes. The cologne guy, Chaucin, went from anointed to oh my God, what is that stench in a heart beat. 

Slow the roll, let it play out. There is potential, lots of it, but lets not get out over our skis and crash before he takes off.

I was watching the highlights and saw something interesting on the play when Brandon Lowe was thrown out on that great play by Gimenez. He throws his helmet on the ground

What is on his head? Is it one of those silicone bald caps or does he have a condom on his head or what? You can see his hair underneath it and the line across his forehead. Weird.
