Same thing happened back in the 3 run inning, a ball off the end of the bat for a dying quail basehit, followed by a swinging bunt to start that inning 2 on with 0 outs. Sucks, but that's baseball for ya, hah!

.500 road trip is fine, but they lost an easily winnable game in Pittsburgh that put a damper on things. Oh well, let's get some of that home cookin' going and heat up a bit before the Brewers come to town.

Pffffftttttt. That was a barfer, but another series win at least. Time to get another one vs. the Twins now. At least Detroit and Houston lost as well. Can the Yanks win one against the Sox? We'll see!

Astros and Tigers both lost. Now just need a Red Sox loss since they are the closest to the Jays in the East standings, and all will be fine.

Lets hope they can weather this storm and have a couple arms hot down the stretch. Need to have at least 2-3 arms from the pen you can rely on in the playoffs.

Yeah the bullpen deciding to collectively s*** the bed the last couple of weeks has not been ideal. Starters generally haven't been great either, probably lucky to get out of this stretch around .500. Hopefully Bieber continues to throw well.

If we can go at least 4-2 on the homestand we will have some good momentum heading into September. Once the calendar flips I feel like this team will go on a run. Working out the kinks in the dog days.

It was a rough month, but I would be very surprised if some, if not most, of those arms don't bounce back in September.
