That certainly didn't go according to plan. Turnbull is quickly showing that he doesn't belong in the rotation but the outfield defense didn't go him any favors tonight as several of the balls that fell in for extra bases were perfectly catchable.

You can't be throwing up performances like last night if you have AL East aspirations. Need to beat up on these bad teams!

Luckily the Yankees lost, but the Rays and Red Sox won.

Yankees were just shut out for 29 straight innings. Cant be letting that happen if you have AL East aspirations.

It's true. Blathering about 1 game like it holds some kind of special meaning about the team as a whole and aspirations for playoffs is silly over a 162 game season. You can look at every current division leader right now and find multiple games where they lost to bottom dwelling teams
