Team is showing some life.

Fun still seeing so many Canadian fans making the trip. Canadian media has been doing overtime trying to demonize America. Going as far as criticizing fellow Canadians who choose to come here. Meanwhile the reality is Americans still very much want Canadians here. I get treated very well whenever anyone finds out I am Canadian by Americans.

It was this Government who drove me here to begin with. The company I work for relocated were all Canadian down here.

Nobody is demonizing the entire country, their President is a disaster and an a-hole. Generally I've chosen to stop going there in order to not support their economy, but the Pacific Northwest is no fan of his anyway.

P.S. Nice comeback win.

He faced 7 batters dumbo

He got 6 outs on 6 strikeouts. Did he hit someone who gives a f*** man. He’s been good lol.

Have you read Twitter? It’s embarrassing. Look at Dan Shulman’s tweets alone. My Dad literally showed me a video clip of them saying Canadians should stay home this weekend.

Rule #1 - ignore the government and media on most issues.  If you like to go to Seattle for games then go.  It's a great baseball experience win or lose.

Agreed 100 percent.

No threats actually have ever been made… only humour. Wording is important. And certain media outlets like too twist them to build narratives. Trump isn’t going to invade or take over Canada. He just wants Canada to join the US willingly lol. The fear mongering is insane. This isn’t a political post. I’m just proud of the Canadians who crossed that border and had fun tonight despite being openly criticized for doing so.

You can’t be mad at America because they want to make their own stuff. Canada’s problems are completely self inflicted and the people who fail to understand that are part of the problem.

This is a gross oversimplification of the problems at hand. The entire world's economy was largely churning along nicely with the US as the standard bearer until a silver spoon simpleton without even a cursory understanding of basic economics was elected as president. Canada didn't arbitrarily decide to start a trade war against itself so the current issues aren't remotely approaching being completely self inflicted. This is pretty basic stuff but given the doozies you tend to post here I'm not surprised you would fail to grasp the basics.

Kindly stfu about politics. Seriously

I'm firmly ready to return to talking baseball. The 3 consecutive victories have been much needed as I was all but ready to tune out the team completely, particularly after the typically reliable tandem of Garcia and Hoffman both hit rough patches. I am hopeful that the offense is starting to turn the corner at this point, hopefully the Santander issue isn't something that holds him out for very long as he was finally starting to heat up at the plate.

That post was about the economy.

But I will gladly stick to Baseball.

The building was electric and my main point was to highlight the Canadians crossing the border to make it that fun. It was beautiful.

Cool bro. I didn’t get watch Friday’s game. The box score reads he threw an inning. Struck out 3 and didn’t allow a hit or walk. No hit batter but he had a WP.

So only thing I can think of is he allowed someone to reach base on a WP strike 3. Is that what happened?

I'm going to Minny in June to see the Jays play. Target Field has always been on the top of my list of ballparks to visit and managed to work out with scheduling and flights not being that expensive.

Don't let the media or social media fear monger and spread false narratives. Like Canadians shouldn't be ostracized or tarred and feathered by their fellow Canadians for going down to the States to see their beloved Blue Jays play or for whatever reason.

It’s really not though. What the problem really is….Is that people don’t understand what problem actually is. Canada created a system of reliance on the US. Whether it was Trump or someone else this would have eventually blew up in their face. When you park your resources into the ground. Put all your eggs into one basket. And tax the people who build your country out of any kind of opportunity you ruin things yourself. This isn’t a new problem. This was a ticking time bomb. Trump isn’t your villain he just pulled out the rug underneath Canada. I am not praising him. I’m completely indifferent towards him. But don’t tell me what I don’t understand. I lived it. I’m in it. The company I worked for desperately tried to stay in Canada for four years. Driven out by taxes and bureaucracy because running a business in Canada is basically the equivalent of setting your  money on fire. The Americans didn’t do that. Canada did that.

We aren’t in a “trade war” we are in a new reality where America doesn’t want to buy other peoples s***. They want to make it themselves and make everyone else come get it from them. That’s your over simplification. It really is that simple. You’re welcome.

If only more Canadians could understand this.

If you missed last night's game, Fluharty was savage on the mound, absolutely savage.

Finally another young arm comes through the system and contributes to the bullpen.  He's only 23 and has looked great this year, hopefully it's not a mirage.
