Will be cool watching Scherzer pitch in a Blue Jays uniform!

Would be awesome if he had a 2024 Chris Sale type of season!

Weird comp to make when 39 year old Verlander in 2022 was right there.

No Springer and Kirk catching 3 games in a row including an afternoon game after a night game. Interesting

We're going to find out how durable Kirk is this year.

If they had a better secondary option they'd be able to protect this kid (now long term team asset) better.

Enough protecting... they gave him a 5 year deal, now it's his turn to go earn it.

If the team gets off to a decent start, they should probably bring a catcher in. You don't want guys catching day game after night game very often

Kirk's best season was the one where he wasn't babied.

Let the big guy eat as much as he wants

And he played his best baseball last year after we traded Jansen so he had to play more.

I'm sure he'll get the day off tomorrow but the season just started and people are trying to baby Kirk already lol.

Jamie Campbell's statement really puts this into perspective. A Hall of Famer hasn't thrown a pitch for the Blue Jays for 16 years. I'm going to enjoy this.

Buck talking about how he thinks this defense will be even better, as they show the OF alignment graphic featuring Lukes in CF with Santander and Davis Schneider in the corners.

New theory: MLB has changed the ball again.

The amount of homers these first few games is insane. Look at the Yankees series, the Dodgers. Tommy Edman with 2 homers. Gimenez with one.

Something is up

Volpe's 91 MPH EV HR was the evidence that brought it to light
