Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2025 Posted January 17, 2025 Makes the Hoffman signing look pretty good in comparison
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2025 Posted January 17, 2025 The projections appear to be in the range of 5.5-8M per, so this seems like an overpay on the surface. In the least it's a gamble based on track record more than current projections
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2025 Posted January 17, 2025 That's about double what I expected Minter to get. I mean he's a stud when healthy, but I thought he'd come cheaper.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2025 Posted January 17, 2025 Nice pickup by the Mets, but their rotation still sucks

I think Fangraphs has him at 1 yr/$6M, but others may have guessed higher. Now LeClerc for $10M This Hoffman deal looks like great value given what Minter, LeClerc and Kittredge signed for.

Would definitely rather have Hoffman at $11M AAV over three years instead of what Minter, LeClerc and Kittredge got. Hoffman has been far superior over the last two season than any of those guys. wilko 1
