That was a really fun series. It's too bad it's ultimately too little too late but this felt like the 2024 Blue Jays world series this weekend.

Pop has zero deception, hitters can see the ball out of his hand, I'm surprised the coaches haven't picked up on this. Look how comfortable the hitters look in the box - he's not fooling anyone.

 

6.58 k/9 is brutal

 

I think Pop needs to go something like 50/50 sinker/slider. His fastball command is just awful and he tends to leave a ton of his sinkers up in the zone where they are hammered.
