Hey we'll take it but being surprised to the point you don't even swing with 2 strikes when Romano only has like 2 pitches is very Biggio like lol.

 

It’s definitely easier said than done to just battle the two elite pitches that Romano throws. They look identical out of the hand with like a 10 mph difference, and he’s throwing them at 100% effort every time. Sometimes your best bet is just to sit on one and pray you guessed right, or get lucky that you’re sitting heater and he throws a cement mixer down the pipe. Hitting is really hard.

 

8/10 times if Romano throws a pitch that appears like it’s middle-middle out of the hand, it drops below the zone for a whiff.

Ya I'm not crapping on the guy for not being able to get a hit or make contact even... just thought with the game tying runner on 3rd with less than 2 outs, you are choking up and swinging the bat at anything near the zone. Kudos on Romano with his best outing of the season!

I don't know why he's even on the roster. Maybe someday he'll hit a pinch hit home run that wins us a single game and I guess they will feel like that justifies his waste of a roster spot?

This is what happens when you're in close quarters constantly. It only takes one person to get sick then everyone gets it. I remember pink eye spreading like wildfire through our barracks at basic training.
