Kirk has been hitting well lately but man it sucks not to have Jansen in there, of course he isn't going to DH with Turner doing his thing. Can he play RF? haha

Feel like we're already pushing it with the defense as is to not have Turner's 39 year old ass letting balls go by him into the outfield.

 

Jansen will come in to hit for Biggio, IKF or Ernie if the opportunity arises late in game.

I don't think the outfield defense is going to necessarily be an issue as both of Biggio and Schneider have been approximately league average in LF/RF and Springer should still be able to provide solid center field play when needed.

Huge game today which will determine if we end the month of April with a winning record or not.

 

It really does feel like a must win for all the haters and losers who collectively make up the Debbie Downers of the board. It's going to be really hard for them to cry and whine about the "ship is sinking" while we sit in the thick of contention with a winning record despite all hell breaking lose to start the season.
