If I have 3 kids using the internet non-stop - I assume these IPTV set ups won't work the best for me?

 

Do you know what your speed is at home? Download / Upload?

I have that in my area now but the upload speeds should be equal to the download

 

Upload speeds are almost always far less than download. We download far more data than we upload. Online performers excepted, maybe.

Year and a half for me. Been down once or twice, but not long. Yes, there is some buffering that happens from time to time, but considering I have 22,000+ channels (all MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, Soccer anywhere in the world, every streaming platform that exists, PPV, any movie or TV show I'd ever want to watch (as soon as it gets to VOD, I can watch) at basically 1/20th the price, I'll live with a bit of buffering here and there and a 1 minute delay.

 

Thanks to everyone for all this info.

 

I'm new to this IPTV business - is there a specific IPTV provider you or Wilko could recommend? My main sports are MLB and UFC, so if I could land those that'd be amazing. Thanks guys.

I got mine in Newmarket. You have to get a box to decode it or something like that. Mine's MAG 524. Works best if plugged in directly to WIFI. $15/month.

I think this is what my parents have and what I was considering.

 

I have no idea what my upload/download speeds are though.

I can see a crackdown coming on illegal streaming, maybe including the grey market IPTVs. Best to go month to month

782.61 Mbps for upload

 

That's good speeds. You would be good even if you have multiple people streaming.
