Atlanta exploded in the 7th inning yesterday. Adam Duvall had a big hit as well off the bench. Such a great lineup top to bottom.

How is McNeil a bitch? He’s upset about a slide that was completely unnecessary and way late and could have landed him on the DL on opening day. Bush league by Hoskins.

I think it's weird that the rules still allow that kind of slide. If the 2B cannot even remotely impede the running lane then why can a baserunner do this?

The slide wasn’t cool. This isn’t pre-Utley era

 

not great but within the rules, he's was trying to break up the dp but the throw from Batty was low and McNeil didn't have time to jump out of the way

There’s no way he ever plays more than like 70 games in a season. Its only gonna get worse as he ages too. Waste.

The slide is pretty bush league in the sense it’s not just a takeout slide but you actually can see Hoskins roll over onto McNeil’s left leg as he’s sliding through the bag which could easily f*** up a knee

Too much for even me to defend at this point. It’s a like a fluke injury, then another fluke injury, then it’s like now his oblique bc he hasn’t been playing, this other thing bc he hasn’t been playing.. then it’s like ok, rough start to the career but full off-season to get it right. Lasts 3 innings. Definitely up there with a select few like Buxton and Stanton

03/30/24 Minnesota Twins placed SS Royce Lewis on the 10-day injured list retroactive to March 29, 2024. Right quad strain.
