BlueJays Verified Member Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Abusing the bullpen in a meaningless game would be the most Schneider move ever. Kikuchi probably gets in this game to get comfortable in the bullpen. Maybe you meant Berrios.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Slapia taking extra bases in a meaningless 8-0 gane
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Wes Pearson first and last game
DonJays Verified Member Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 The funny thing is this entire Stadium don't know why any of this happening lol. Maybe less than 5% I would say. Everyone over the age of 5 understands what is happening
max silver Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 If you're going to tank you may as well do it right like today.
keggy Verified Member Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Maybe you meant Berrios. Berrios has literally zero professional experience out of the pen and Kikuchi was nasty out of the pen last year. It will be Kikuchi
Masterbather Verified Member Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 If you're going to tank you may as well do it right like today. No we're actually overdoing the tank. f*** this team can't even lose properly.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 When are you allowed to let position players pitch? Is it runs or innings? ESPN: leading teams have to be up by 10 or more runs in the ninth inning in order to let a position player pitch while trailing teams can use a position player anytime it's down by eight or more runs. Position players are also allowed to pitch anytime in extra innings
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2023 Author Posted October 1, 2023 The sad part is the Jays really couldn't make anymore roster moves. None of those guys could have been temporarily sent down. It's really the rules that are f***ing them with needing a certain amount of position players on the roster. They would have brought up another innings eater in that scenario.

It's casual fans fill up the ball parks, without casual fans coming, I am sure Rogers centers will be mostly empty

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2023 Author Posted October 1, 2023 It's casual fans fill up the ball parks, without casual fans coming, I am sure Rogers centers will be mostly empty Oh I am very aware. I am thankful these fans fill the ballpark in this economy. I still feel bad they paid for todays game though lol. They could have got a dramatically different game if Seattle won last night. Must have been difficult to flip tickets.

They should've optioned Cabrera for Francis or Pearson. He already burned an option with St Louis
Doubleplay21 Verified Member Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Is this such a tank job that MLB investigates
max silver Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 You have a pride flag on your house don’t you. You presently have a dildo up your rear end don't you? Nah man, I don't care about Bass'es opinions but the stupid motherf***er was entirely responsible for his own undoing as all he had to do was speak a few platitudes and then keep his damn mouth shut.

He already burned an option with St Louis I didn't know Genesis was optionable. I was under the impression he accumulated enough MLB service time to refuse an option negating his options. He could have been a team player I guess.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2023 Author Posted October 1, 2023 You have a pride flag on your house don’t you. As much as I enjoy s***ing on Liberals. No Politics please Baseball forum we try to avoid it.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2023 Author Posted October 1, 2023 Kevin Cash have instructed his team to tank back lol
Masterbather Verified Member Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 God this looks like a meaningless 162 with two clinched teams.

keggy Verified Member Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 3 things I would like to see today: -Varsho 1 inning at C -Kikuchi out of the pen -Eden or Espinal 1 IP to spell the pen

jaysthebest Verified Member Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 LOL I can't wait until Whit is gone.
bronson44 Verified Member Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 At least Parsons had a chance to regroup. Hoping we can get 5 out of him.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 They designated Jay Jackson for assignment to free up a 40 man spot just so they could use Parsons for one day Justified or dirty? He’s a free agent and if they didn’t think he’d be in the pen in the postseason, it makes sense.
spats Verified Member Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Houston winning 5-0. Hope these scores hold up. Jays avoid playing Tampa and Baltimore.
keggy Verified Member Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 None of those make sense. Never mind. Bring in Hicks and Romano
