It's always possible, any baseball game has a potential for weirdness, but it would really be against all odds. Texas does have a great offense though so if they can somehow get Castile off his game, maybe they can just outslug the Mariners.

just want to say my wife is a big fan. We read the board together every night and she can't get enough of your posts. She has gone through alot health wise recently so the posts have been the one bright spot in her life the last couple months.

 

My wife is annoyed with me and is trying to get me medication and is pretty mad I get so upset about these games. I think that is part of the reason she made the appointment to get me boosted tomorrow during the ill-fated Gausman start (100% true story), thinks the myocarditis will get me knock me down for a few days, or maybe she is trying to kill me.

 

Whatever the case at least I don't have to watch tomorrow. Instead I will be getting boosted to help my wonderful community. So excited.

I've been trying to avoid the tie breaker crap in hopes we just win but my qsn is if Mariners win tonight and Astros lose, where does that put things? Is the only way in is if we win tomorrow or if Mariners lose one of the next two or Astros lose the next 2?

The only appropriate way for the 2023 Jays to make the playoffs is to have to use Gausman tomorrow, lose, but then still get into the playoffs because the Mariners or Astros lost.

Jays can't have a 3-way tie with the Rangers and Marines or a 4-way tie to 3 AL west teams. Jays are basically out if that happened.
