Man, this team is just so friggin uninspiring. The Rogers Center is as dead as it can be.

I don't. This offense is friggin pathetic. I've said many times that this is the worst good team I've ever seen as a Jays fan.

There's not many 1-2 combos on the level of Cole and King.

Also know someone who said Pavel Bure accidentally kicked their foot (good chance it was actually his foot based on where he was sitting and his reaction) under a table at some dinner once like 25 years ago.

 

Well that's very snobby of her, maybe she would have been happier had she not always aimed for these big time celebrities. She might have had children and a family just like she always wanted, but she had to go with the big stars and the big stars are usually bad boyfriends.

I am more dissatisfied with the approach. They have seen this guys enough to understand. They are still trying to pull. The AB approach is awful and the supposed hitting coaches or strategic coaches are piss poor. They are good pitchers I understand that but 3 hits yesterday and so far 1 today? Come one

You can't slap singles against good pitching consistently, so taking a pull- centric approach makes sense to maximize damage if you do make contact.

 

If anything the hitting coaches are preaching the slap happy up the middle or other way philosophy

This is the point I've made about our starting pitching that gets people mad. I say our starting pitching beyond Gausman is not good enough for our offense, which is not a criticism, but guys like Berrios and Kikuchi and Bassitt will often give up two to four runs against decent teams. It's not a killer amount of runs but the problem is our offense is so bad against any sort of good pitching that it's enough to bury us.

 

Our starters are not good enough to carry this offense in this offense is not good enough to carry good pitching. It needs to be damn near elite pitching for us to have a chance.
