Yeah but it's September and we're in a playoff hunt. This time of year is different is it not?

I think people are putting way too much weight on him being in the lineup, we have other capable players, it's not the end of the world, and a few days off might be good for him. We have some tough pitching coming up and we need guys who can put together quality at bats and he really hasn't done that very often.

If I actually saw any real adjustments in his swing that were leading to him swinging better I might believe in it but he just happened to run into a few more balls, but his approach is the same as the one we've seen for a year and a half. So no I'm not buying it, and look his replacement just hit a double!

Anyhow, let's just talk about the game. Vlad is out and your whining won't change that.

that's for the off season, very difficult to adjust swing mechanics in season. I agree with you though that swing needs to get better
