I’ve been saying the same, yet for some reason there’s a handful of people here that don’t believe in the whole “injury prone” thing.

Getting hit by a pitch is bad luck sure, but most players don’t hit the DL every time they get HBP lol

I cant think of a single person here who didn't expect Jansen to get hurt at some point.

LOL I don't think so pal. You're not getting off this easy.

You, as much as any other poster, were constantly on my ass about being pro-Kirk and anti-Jansen for MONTHS on end. When I typed my post out I had you in mind first and foremost.

So quit lying and start apologizing.

Im not lying about anything. I still love Jansen as a player he’s just extremely injury prone. And I was never against Kirk, I said we should trade him because I thought he had the highest trade value of the 3 at the time.

Why not be pro-both?? Moron

Wow so I take it I'm not going to get the apology I deserve from you?

Oh man those games with Serven Espinal and IKF at the bottom of the lineup are gonna suck

I would hope its not all 3 but yeah you’re probably right.

Serven might actually be something though, he’s been looking real good

If there is one Blue Jays spring training thing to just ignore, it's Brian Serven's stats

I think a good number of Catchers should become available closer to opening day as loads of them sign minor league deals and can opt out.

Since we can guarantee an MLB roster spot to start, we could probably pick up one of the better ones (though they are all pretty bad).

As for Serven, his spring stats are basically meaningless though the team would have more insight on if he's actually improved. Getting him away from the Rockies could unlock something.

He was at one point a 40+ FV and projected to be a good backup with a defensive profile.

The good defense seems to track in his limited action at the big league level (SSS alert). But his pop time and framing seem good and I don't think you need a lot of data for those to normalize.

Sucks about Jansen - he'll miss the start of the season??

Yeah its a fractured wrist. Don’t be surprised if he’s not back til like June

Kirk looks locked in though

Hopefully Janny Dancin' just misses like, one month and it doesn't even matter because Kirk hits .400 with 7 homers

It's a tiny broken bone though not like his wrist is fully shattered.

Anyone that would rather an out than a strike cares.

bro it's like the dumbest f***ing thing to complain about

"can't catch popups behind home plate"

it's just, probably not even true

just some anecdote stuck in your head because you saw it happen a couple times

it's a hard play by the way!!!!!!!!!!! the ball spins like crazy and spirals back towards the infield, catchers miss them frequently

Wes Parsons has better stuff than the opening day starters for both the Red Sox and the Yankees.

Too bad he can't keep the walks down.

Good to see Casey Mize is alive. I also haven't seen Dennis Santana's name in a LONG time. Dude was hyped up when he was with the Dodgers.
