Kikuchi could have been perfect through 5 on 62 pitches and he would have been pulled for Yimi Garcia by now. Not sure what the Jays saw with Bassitt to think he could get through 6 here, although he spoon fed them 2 runs for free.

I'm not one for the quick hooks but he was grinding all night. Didn't have his best stuff. No swing and miss. Why leave him in against Heim at 95 pitches?

I really hardly ever say anything about the manager because I think people do too much 20/20 ******** on those decisions, but holy s*** it was so obvious he should not have been out there.

This was my fear of Bassit when we signed him. He's known for getting his s*** kicked in. In big games. He was awful tonight. Flat out embarrassing. Disgraceful performance.

Pretty sure hes trash against good teams, or at least good AL teams

 

Took him to give up over 4ER today. It was automatic.

Cabrera might end up being a sneaky great pickup. I feel like after spending the off-season down in the lab he might come back even better
