That seems to be everyone's response. Kind of old for his level relief prospect with decent numbers.

 

Honestly you can't get an actual major league player that's going to play a decent role for cheaper than this price. Near nothing going back and even getting some cash for it.

 

This a pretty good deal just on that basis regardless of how Dejong performs.

Some 24 year old closer dude, they took in '21 in the 13th round, nice numbers but... He's in A+ at 24, although the Jays did assign him to the Fishercats yesterday.

Obviously not if we're comparing to Bo. I'm looking at Paul as a standalone player.

At a glance I don't think DeJong has the arm for third base as he's 24th percentile in arm strength. Although he's improved tremendously, Bo at 3rd is also likely a recipe for disaster given his issues with throwing accuracy on shorter throws from short stop.
