It's really weird on how Ross feels comfortable making these types of decisions in his eighth season and no play off wins. The Shatkins relationship feels like there's more than just a business aspect to it. Rogers must let Shapiro do his thing, as long as revs keep rolling in. I actually wouldn't be surprised if Ross is back next season, even if we miss the playoffs.

Dont have high hopes with Manoah on the mound. But with the Yanks on the verge of sweeping this weekend it would be nice to not get swept. That 4 game lead is evaporating very quickly.

If the Jays lose this game, and they probably will, then I hope it’s an embarrassing one. Having Manoah start again when you are clinging to the last WC spot is insanity, and they should feel as embarrassed as they deserve to be.

 

Best case the Jays offense scores like 12 runs and they win anyway, but I’m not holding my breath on that one.

This whole mess was set up in part the first game on the early hook (I’m usually never concerned with an early Kooch hook after 5 but he was electric Kooch). Just my view. Woo is shoving so far.
