Amazing when Vlad is Vlad what this team can do - Big timely DP with Mayza and a key knock for us oppo taco.

Solid effort all round as the Hound stepped up to salvage the series.

Good to see the offense come on late after early struggles. Need to get on a run. A lot of winnable games on the horizon.

Trading him now would be kinda dumb. In the off-season when we can show a well angled workout quick of him being in the best shape of his life is the time to strike.

After which, you just know he would hit 50 HRs and look like vintage Pujols, just because.

The trick is just never let anyone get into scoring position. Luplow is the newbie so he didn’t get the memo but he’ll learn

Bingo, when he stops being a dickhead to others and driving posters away, I’ll stop being a dickhead to him. That’s a promise.

Ya , perfect crisp, immediate lane he gave for the throw. Leo Jimenez is coming for his job.

It would be nice if this part-time genius Ross Atkins can correct his major offseason brain cramp trade by acquiring another hitter who can drive runners in scoring position this coming trade deadline.

Big protection behind Guerrero because Chapman is not the answer

Travel back in time: Bautista had Encarnacion (that heart of the line up with Donaldson, Bautista, Encarnacion and Tulowitzki inflicted so much pain against opposing pitchers)

This team needed that badly if they aim to be relevant in the post season.

P.S. the more game BARFSHO is out of this line up, this team is way better. A blackhole and ruins the chemistry of this team.

Nice to see someone told Kirk that the season started.

Difficult to watch him struggle after what he did last season, I still think the bat is for real but he probably won't hit for power, above average on base numbers which is valuable from that position.

and his receiving skills haven't slumped, called strikes below

I suspect part of the reason why Kirk's framing numbers are a little lower this season is due to how poorly Manoah was placing his pitches for most of the season. Kirk was Manoah's primary catcher early on and really didn't receive as many framing opportunities, and with a pitcher locating so poorly perhaps this would lead to receiving less calls on closer pitches due to the scattershot command.
