He's still 30% better than average, by'

Has he been the guy we want, no f***ing chance. I'm being rational.

He is a below average first basemen and has been for his whole big league career besides one year

I have complete faith that Cimber will be his usual self after the all star break. But he's just not good right now.

They should option him and if he refuses let him walk, he should be able to stay there in case of injury. Meh...

Extrapolating his total production so far results in 1 - 1.2 WAR for the season. WHAT A STUD! He is actually trending down as he has negative WAR since the start of May. I predict less than 1 WAR for the year.

Blue jays have defeated Wilner

We could have lost 85 games and Wilner would still be slagging callers who complain no nothings as there is “lots of season left” and “seasons have ups and downs”. He is so annoying.

Cant wait for Ross to be s*** canned and the restart to begin, this team is going nowhere but probably fighting for something that didn't even exist a couple years ago a 3rd wildcard spot. And even if we get it which isn't likely as the Yanks will get healthy and be better, the O's, Rangers and Astros aren't going anywhere, also the Angels now have a better record than us. We would get bounced first round anyway.

I strongly suggest you climb out of your basement for once. Take a break.

As soon as you rest yourself from this forum and quit trashing new posters, the Jays will start consistently win.

STFU for once !

I knew we could depend on Cimber to f*** us up, POS

He’s contributed to what… 3-4 losses since his return??

Truly the A Bass curse

Seriously.. I like Varsho.. but does he not realize how often he chases balls above the zone? Is he incapable of learning?

yes

Was a big problem early on, and yes.

Well if there is any silver lining we made it through arguably a top 3 strength of schedule to begin the year above 500. Now we have

Marlins

A's

Giants

Red Sox

White Sox

Tigers

18 games we need to go on a big run.

Atkins still blows and needs to be punted into the sun.

But thanks to the extended playoffs this season is not a total write off yet

Also, that's all that guy does.

It’s now 21% better actually.

Yeah, this year, I'm running out of patience on Vlad, he needs to pick it up soon or he's in trouble, nevermind the Jays. Aside from all the caveats.

Yeah the dude has a well deserved 7.40 ERA with a 7.48 FIP to match. He's been absolutely killing the team the last few weeks, surely Jay Jackson, Hatch or any other assorted warm body from the minors could give them better innings than Cimber right now.

14-4 or 12-6 run would be nice but it’s probably gonna be 6-12 or 8-10.

Hahaha... that's how the season feels so far, terrible loss this afternoon.

Somehow this team is cursed. In order to render the curse defeated I recommend a trifold course of action:

1. Bring back Tony Bass.

2. Re-sign Roberto Osuna from whatever godforsaken Mexican league he is currently wallowing in.

3 Restore Roberto Alomar to the Level of Excellence.

Then, only then, will this dark cloud of piss poor baseball leave us.

Ignore my advice at your peril.

Wait, did the Rangers beat the Jays 2 out of 3 games? I thought the Rangers were a fluke thus far and an awful team?
