There's players that are lost at the best of times. I would have fired guillermo a month ago honestly, him and the hitting strategist. TO me it feels like the Jays hitters are completely unprepared for the types of pitchers they are facing. Almost like they're trying to guess at the pitches coming and trying to hit them if they guess right, rather than waiting for a pitch they want to hit.

 

Could be wrong, but thats what it seems like

It feels like there's always some sort of statistical anomaly with this team. Nothing was worse than 2021 with their huge run differential and all sorts of other great offensive stats. It's frustrating.

The inconsistencies are so troubling

 

They just could not find firm footing considering that they are relatively healthy

 

Still a long ways to go but we can obviously see a very shaky foundation if they aspire to go deep in the playoffs
