AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Lol, the only guy in mlb that couldn’t beat that out. Kirk Race Kirk vs Vogelbach vs Salvador. Who wins?
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 He has been the 4th best hitter in May, even better than Bo. He's seeing Michael King for the first time in his life. It is what it is.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Race Kirk vs Vogelbach vs Salvador. Who wins? Salvy, but they all might beat Miggy
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 You're trash. Excellent response. Dude should be hitting 7th but is hitting 4th for a team trying to win the world series lol.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Race Kirk vs Vogelbach vs Salvador. Who wins? Perez 24.8 feet per second, Vogelbach 23.9 feet per second, Kirk 22.7 feet per second. I wasn’t even that far off, the only player in MLB slower than Kirk is 40 year old Miguel Cabrera, at 22.5 feet per second. Though I’ll throw Kirk a bit of a bone, Grandal is tied with Kirk at second slowest…so he’s not completely alone. He is however, 24, while everyone else in the bottom 20 in sprint speed is 28 or older, and most of them are well into their 30s and in Miggys case, 40.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Excellent response. Dude should be hitting 7th but is hitting 4th for a team trying to win the world series lol. It's not funny if it's stupid, just saying.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 It's not funny if it's stupid, just saying. You're such a homer... carry on lol.

Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Our cleanup hitter is friggin trash man. 200M payroll and this dude is the best we can do at that spot... He got robbed of a hit 1 AB. Sometimes s*** hits get you on base as we saw the same inning, sometimes hard hits get caught..
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Having him pitch a multi inning role is how they’re trying to build him back up, very very gradually. As much as I personally think they should abandon him as a starter completely and just let him air out as a reliever and try to get him into a high leverage role, I’m betting that if he makes it through this season unscathed and gets close to 100-110 IP …we’ll see him as a starter option in spring next season. I hope not. The only reason if he doesn't get hurt while throwing 100 innings, is because he's in a 1-2 inning role.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Judge peeking into the dugout is getting some play on Twitter Good. More interesting is actually a few minutes earlier when Judge was on deck and talking with the dugout about what was coming. They caught a shot of it in the telecast. He definitely knew what was coming, but it's not clear whether the dugout tipped it or someone on the Jays.
