Rhett Lowder's hair should give him an additional 1m of signing bonus alone.

Poor kid was hearing “Sell The Team” chants while he gets drafted

If John Fisher doesn't spend more money in Vegas. Cause I don't think the small market thing works in Vegas he will probably will have to sell the team.

2023 MLB Mock Draft Version 4.0

July 7, 2023

Carlos Collazo

20. Blue Jays — Nolan Schanuel, 1B, Florida Atlantic

Slot Value: $3,746,000

Total Bonus Pool: $6,529,700

Schanuel is linked to nearly all of the teams who are picking in the 17-23 range, so I’m expecting he goes off the board somewhere there unless he goes on some sort of underslot deal beforehand. Other model players like Chase Davis and Arjun Nimmala are frequently mentioned, and I think the Blue Jays could be in on Dillon Head and Kevin McGonigle as well, and they might be one of the earliest possible landing spots for Charlee Soto.

Dart Throw Later Picks: OF Grant Gray, RHP Laif Palmer; OF Devin Saltiban; SS Myles Naylor

Another mock in shambles

Still a lot of good players available for the Jays

Yohandy Morales would be interesting imo.

Front office love their arms but there’s so many good bats still available.

Arjun Nimmala, Aidan Miller, Colin Houck

Next 30-30 guy I'm sure.

30 doubles maybe, not exactly a power guy.

Looks like those high school bats in the 11-13 rank range are going to college. Gotta figure they’d be popped by now if they weren’t.

Nice pick by the Rays taking Taylor. I was hoping he’d get to the Jays

I get the logic here, only have 1 pick in the first two rounds, may as well swing for the fences with a potential stud SS, who’s a young high schooler

Plus raw power already at 17 years old and 170 lbs...not too difficult to see the intrigue in that. The panel certainly loves the kid

I know Bo, but doesn’t seem like they do well with the high SS picks overall. Prep or otherwise. Should’ve stuck to P
