One thing about Alek. He's got the balls to pitch out of a jam. As I said before, people got their expectations out of whack because of his ERA last year but he's more of a good 3/4 type guy, he's miscast as a number one for sure.

Hes still young with a lot of weight on his shoulders. Pressure he probably felt being named season and home opener starter. Gausman probably handles it better with experience.

My take is that a few pounds more is affecting mechanics and mobility, he should adjust to his new weight and he will be OK
