5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 2nd guy this year, Daniel Bard too. Interesting development in the sport That' soft man. Guys gotta be seen as a joke to his teammates.
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 What’s funny? I don’t get it? Anxiety can be debilitating Yeah well, in the real world that kind of thing isn't an excuse for missing work.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 That slider is just sweeping way too early
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 That' soft man. Guys gotta be seen as a joke to his teammates. You're embarrassing yourself
Cynical Verified Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Manoah is building a reputation for not being able to handle pressure lately.
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Athletes aren't allowed to take time off work for anxiety? lmao since when? I've never heard of this before. Unless someone's institutionalized or something, it seems pretty soft.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 The pitching has been trash so far need another comeback
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Nice, good job squeezing out of that s*** show!
jaysthebest Verified Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Alek Manoah: “Pressure's something you put in your tires.” This is my favourite quote.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Nice catch Biggio. Happy to get out of that, f***...
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2023 Author Posted April 12, 2023 Comeback fastball to lefties seems like a s*** pitch Thigh high... yeah. Down low.... better. The 3rd strike looking to that last guy was pretty much the exact same location as the HR given up.
Masterbather Verified Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 One thing about Alek. He's got the balls to pitch out of a jam. As I said before, people got their expectations out of whack because of his ERA last year but he's more of a good 3/4 type guy, he's miscast as a number one for sure.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Yeah well, in the real world that kind of thing isn't an excuse for missing work. Yes it is you are an idiot are you stuck in 1980?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Not gunna lie the way that inning was going only being down 3 is a god send. Jesus.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Manoah is building a reputation for not being able to handle pressure lately. Has nothing to do with pressure...his mechanics and pitches are really off right now
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Lol it's kind of funny and sad, that the MLB Analyst was bang on about Manoah and Manoah lost it when it wasn't even harsh, it was constructive. What's that about?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Alek Manoah: “Pressure's something you put in your tires.” This is my favourite quote. He’s been s*** ever since
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Too much “playoffs will be easy to make” tug fest this offseason I think Jays will be a WC (which I stuck to all last season when others bailed) But way too much knob slobbing this off-season and talking down NY and Tam
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Austin Meadows on the DL for ANXIETY!?! lmao you gotta be kidding me Don't be a dick man, have you ever had a panic attack? Yeah, I didn't think so.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 What's that about? I think he’s talking about the “should lose some weight” comment
Captain_Obvious Verified Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Manoah is building a reputation for not being able to handle pressure lately. It has nothing to do with pressure. Last year, I was disappointed if he threw a 93 FB. This year 93 is his max (or close to it).
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 I can't help but think how much better off we would be if Gausman had taken the pressure starts. Manoah gets too pumped up for these big starts and just can't handle the pressure. He'll learn as his career progresses, but he's not there. Anyone who thinks last inning was a product of reduced velocity wasn't watching very closely. It's 100% mental.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Athletes aren't allowed to take time off work for anxiety? These guys, man. lol
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Right down the middle...pop out
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Springer, Vlad and Chap all got under it.
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Don't be a dick man, have you ever had a panic attack? Yeah, I didn't think so. alright, alright, alright. I don't wanna derail the thread. I'm gonna have to agree to disagree on this one with you guys.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Missing hittable pitches so far
Masterbather Verified Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Hey look, Belt did something.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Hey look, Belt did something. He’s hitting .1000 at home so shut the f*** up for awhile : )
