Youre right, and its no so much that he's getting wood on the baseball and just hasnt found the holes, he's swinging and missing regularly at 88-90 mph cookies. That's the concerning part.

Of course it is, but people make an issue of a it game to game, it's silly, especially early in the season and with cooler weather.

 

Nothing wrong with taking note and monitoring. If Gausman's velo is down today...fine. It's just something to watch over the next 2-3-4 starts to see if it's a blip or something else is up.
