That's the thing though, its not these 3 catches that made him a great CF, it was the 3 and 4 star plays that he made look routine and barely above routine that made him a great CF.

Yeah

He made routine and difficult plays look so easy and made them so often

#24 for the Jays really is a wasteland of nobodies, with the exception of Rickey Henderson in 1993, Shannon Stewart and Ricky Romero.

Who could forget household names like Chuck Hartenstein, Willie Aikens, Glenallen Hill, Jim Acker, Greg Cadaret, Turner Ward, Dave Righetti, Bobby Kielty, Sean Douglass, Mariano Duncan, Paul Spoljaric and Nate Pearson?

maybe when we get to #1 we should have a poll of which number had the most years of greatness.

Just off the top of my head #19 might be on the short list

Yeah I'd think 19 (Joey Bats plus McGriff) and 25 (Delgado and White) would be up there and 12 would have the most decent seasons (between Whitt and Alomar)

#19 is even better when you recall who wore it from 1993-1995.

I figure #25 had 13 years of elite player years (assume all years are elite for a player who is elite) and #19 had 16 -- so Molitor breaks that tie. #37 had Stieb for 14 years.
