That's a hypothetical post, I'm not saying do it, lots can change from now to the end of the season. You're undervaluing Kiermaier, he's as as fast as his prime years, and as good defensively as well.

Fair enough, but all you need is a 90ish wRC+ bat. I added on that post as well by the way. Slim pickings, I like Varsho's projections at CF, a corner 1 year deal could be the way to go.

I think that would be a terrible contract, full stop. I think we’ll have a better idea if what KK might be worth by the end of the season. Plus we want to maximize Varsho’s value as a CF right??

 

Idk to me it makes more sense to go after a bigger bat for one of the corners. Could make a shrewd 1 yr signing or get a guy on a relatively cheap 3-4 year deal

 

LMAO geez crazy how you think KK is all of a sudden going to fall off a cliff. A lot of his value is tied to his defense. Even if he hits .250/.300/.350 like I said, he can post a 2 WAR season.

It's only a one or two year deal geez man, Jays aren't signing KK to a 3 or 4 year deal. You're overreacting.

Yeah sure I guess you can’t really lose on a 1-2 year contract… pretty low risk no matter what.

 

But there’s always the possibility it turns out like Tanner Roark.
