WTF is going on with "hitting strategist" Dave Hudgens, who is tweeting minutes (seconds?) before first pitch? He seems to be preoccupied with US politics instead of having his head in the game at game time!

 

I went to check his tweets and they are now protected so I can't see them. The teams bats are looking like wet noodles and this low forehead is on twitter!

Biggio needs to go along with Kirk and Espanial. There are these style of players on every team in this league only exception is the Jay's play all 3 at the same time.We are out coached each and every game.Schneider needs to start acting like a coach not a buddy.Quit making excuses that every night the other teams pitcher was better,start dressing the top line up and quit worrying about your so called rest for them and for God sakes quit changing the damn line up everyday!!!.Culture needs to change in Toronto no fear of accountability when all the whole organization makes excuses and now the players are drinking the kool-aid.

I don’t care about what he’s tweeting but wtf how is he not focused on the game??? If this was a player he’d be absolutely torn to shreds for this

They will give Kirk one more season. Espinal should be moved on from soon with Orelvis, Barger, Jimenez close. Biggio as well, but they will give him the rest of the season to see if he can have sustained success or fade away again

Yeah Kirk will still be around for next season, along with Jansen. If Kirk doesn't return to his 2022 form and is hitting like he is now again, he likely will be traded or non-tendered the following offseason.

Though at the time, there weren't any better shortstops available and if Bo was out long term, at least the Jays had a guy who has showed some success in the past at the big league level.

Ok to be honest I was OK with the deal at the time and the deadline happened right as Bo got hurt.

 

He just played so poorly that in retrospect it was a waste
