The only problem is that he is a double play threat, but he makes so much contact.

Easiest ways to improve run prevention:

 

1. Push Springer to RF/LF and find a plus CF (Nimmo?)

3. Get Berrios and Kikuchi to see a sports psychologist

The pen needs to be very high on that list. Even when the pen was doing “ok”, it was a single point of failure from being really subpar. We have no one that can do what Romano did most of the year. If Romano is gassed from previous games, hurt or in a slump, our pen is a total crapshoot, more so then it was/is already.
