The Mitch White comparison is such a weird take; he was a last second get to improve depth. I am sure there were attempts to land someone big, possibly including Castillo, but CIN liked SEA's package (And it was a big one) more.

 

Its not like Atkins said nah I don't want Castillo, lets put all the resources into getting White instead!
