Dokken Verified Member Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 Agreed, but again that would entail Ross admitting to a mistake. Not happening, even though it would benefit the team. He'll definitely put it off way too long as usual.
Dagagad Verified Member Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 Holy f***, you have a pitcher struggling like this and you half ass that throw. You just completely f***ed your pitcher. The shortstop can’t do that. Watch Kikuchi completely melt down now.
jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 Kikuchi literally has no idea where the ball is going
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2022 Author Posted June 25, 2022 Bo continues to be s*** at the plate and in the field. False.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 Bo continues to be s*** at the plate and in the field. Sad but true At least he's an all star though lol
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 4 Ks already, 7 whiffs. His stuff is excellent, he just needs to figure out where the damn ball is going when it leaves his hand
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 Bo needs to transition to second base as soon as next season. It will benefit everyone.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 Sad but true At least he's an all star though lol I think its his hitting that is getting to him which is showing up on the field, two routine plays into errors yesterday/today.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 Difficult for him to get 3 outs never mind 4... thanks Bo
Dagagad Verified Member Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 There we go Bo. The one f***ing pitcher that you can’t make mistakes behind and you throw one several feet short to first. It should be unacceptable. This games over and he’s scuffling anyway. Bench his ass to set an example.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 False. A .725 OPS and sub par defence doesn't inspire much confidence.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 His stuff is excellent, he just needs to figure out where the damn ball is going when it leaves his hand I wouldn't go as far as calling his stuff excellent, good is more like it.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 Giving Kikuchi a three year term was a mistake. Eh, I think he’s a bust for this year but probably a good chance they can work with him in the offseason/spring training and get him to be servicable

TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 Kikuchi was just trying to make the most of the no-earned-runs opportunity after the error and give the Brewers as much as possible because he's such a good guy.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 A .725 OPS and sub par defence doesn't inspire much confidence. He looks like Kevin Pillar at the plate so far this year..
Dagagad Verified Member Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 Why would you bench him for making a bad throw lol. You’d be a great coach He’s -4 in outs above average and last in the league in UZR, and he just left a pitcher who cannot command the ball out to dry. He seems to make a lot of bad throws. Maybe don’t bench him. Just move him to second base when we have pitchers on the mound when we require good fielding behind them. I don’t totally understand the imperative to develop him at short at the expense of everything else. It can’t help his hitting to always be playing just beyond his capability in the field. It would be very stressful. Let him play an easier position most games and concentrate on hitting .
Skinny Wolf Verified Member Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 The right thing to do: Espinal play SS Bichette 2B or trade Bichette for starter
Dokken Verified Member Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 Kikuchi was just trying to make the most of the no-earned-runs opportunity after the error and give the Brewers as much as possible because he's such a good guy. At least he gets tagged with a loss. While Ws are counting less for starting pitchers than they used to Ls and also your team's record in games that you started are still valid measures.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2022 Author Posted June 25, 2022 A .725 OPS and sub par defence doesn't inspire much confidence. The first month he was s*** on both sides, not since.

Maybe he can pull a 4 leaf clover for month of the stretch run
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 If people could stop hitting our batters, that'd be super.
