I see the process behind it. Don’t put too much resources into it, but it would be nice to have as many guys as the orioles with velo coming out of the pen.

Garcia was our marquee signing in the off-season for the pen. We put basically zero resources into the pen. We traded slop for cimber and Richards last year.

I do think Charlie could get guys quicker but that honestly happened so fast with 2 outs that i can see why he didn’t.

 

However, the larger point remains. We CHOSE to have a mediocre bullpen when it comes to swing and miss. That leads to stuff like this happening occasionally. That being all on the manager is f***ing dumb. It’s an org choice.
