Krusty Verified Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Another great win! Something special is building with this team fellas! 8-2 in our last 10. Now if only the f***ing Yankees would lose lol.
Dokken Verified Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 If anybody can tie this game it's Thornton He may not be great but he did enter today's game with a 3.52 ERA and a 3.40 FIP along with 0.2 fWAR. Admittedly the K/9 and BB/9 numbers are dreadful.
Ray Verified Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 If anybody can tie this game it's Thornton His stuff actually looked really good today. 95 mph 4-seamer 80 mph curve 86 mph slider 92 mph cutter One of the better outings I've seen from him. It's just that when he's off, he gets absolutely shelled. Not much margin of error for him.
Krusty Verified Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 This team is officially fun again Absolutely they are. I love the team spirit and how much they backup each other. Obviously a lot of games left this season, but we are showing the talent that we do have and it is great to see. On to the Twins and hopefully we can keep up the momentum.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Hell yeah, 8 in a row. Slowly gaining ground on the Yankees with lots of season left to play. Bats heating up. This will be an exciting summer for sure
Big BlueJay Verified Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Chi Chi González up next How do these guys stay in the league? No matter how bad some of them are someone just keeps signing them for a decade
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Shout out to J4L, big contribution to this streak.
harvey16 Verified Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Jays have had the toughest schedule in the MLB over the first 50 games and yet we are on pace for almost 100 wins. We have the 3rd easiest schedule in our remaining games while the Yankees and Rays have the 4th and 5th toughest schedules left. I'd say we are in good shape to definitely challenge for the AL East title. http://powerrankingsguru.com/mlb/strength-of-schedule.php
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Hilarious reaction to Kirk's double early in the game in the White Sox sub.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Shout out to J4L, big contribution to this streak. Hey... I started it, but went away last Friday.

jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2022 Author Posted June 2, 2022 Shout out to J4L, big contribution to this streak. Thanks! I will be putting on a contest in tomorrow's GDT to win Jays tickets. Stay tuned. We will never lose a game again.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2022 Author Posted June 2, 2022 And yes, Spanky and I are full time lovers if that was not already obvious.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 And yes, Spanky and I are full time lovers if that was not already obvious. And nothing wrong with that.
Ehjays Verified Member Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Great game, I love how Chapman takes control of the young infield. Yes he made a mistake but owed up to it right away. Its the key plays he makes on defence and most impressive was in the first inning, Manoah loaded the bases and behind in the count ....Chapman ran over to pump him up, it worked and the rest is history. Go Jays Go !!!
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 8 in a row baby, keep it going..manoah is a f***ing monster.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Just watching the game now. That 5th inning, when Tapia slid into home to score a run, he f***in did a push up! He has too much swag lol
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 And yes, Spanky and I are full time lovers if that was not already obvious. Wow... didn't even like my post, how rude! I broke free for you???
Laika Community Moderator Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Tapia almost falls down half the time he cuts a corner. He runs like a baby giraffe. No wonder he's never been a stolen base guy.

Laika Community Moderator Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 I think the udon noodles on his head is messing up his equilibrium. swear to god when he runs standing upright like he does it feels like he is going to fold over backwards like a stick of gum
