Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2022 Author Posted May 23, 2022 What the hell happened? Did Chucky put the bongos down last night and actually look at some stats or something? Best lineup card I've ever seen him fill out.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 What the hell happened? Did Chucky put the bongos down last night and actually look at some stats or something? Best lineup card I've ever seen him fill out. Kirk should be ahead of Teo, but it is what it is. I am expecting the worst, hoping for the best with Mikolas.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 I'll just post this in here, from yesterdays gameday thread... Jays pitching matchups against the Cards is Berrios/Mikolas and Gausman/Hicks, I'd give us the edge here but our bats have been woeful, at least the Cards are missing 2/3rds of their OF with Carlson and O'Neill on the IL. A split would be ideal, hopefully we get some decent offense and can take the 2 game set.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 Better lineup. I like that Charlie is at least trying some different things.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 Man, Mikolas has one of the better sliders in the game and we have been seriously outclassed by them so far (except, maybe BO). I might get super triggered.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 We got this tonight...offensive firepower!!!!
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 And there's the slider, and Springer Ks. Oh man.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 "He doesn't throw very hard" ... Mikolas fires in a 94 mph fastball. Man, the times have changed!
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 Nice Vladdy, make them pitch to you
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 Teo can't even hit fastball down the middle now. Cool.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 Teo needs to be further down in the lineup until he gets going.
harvey16 Verified Member Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 You know the bats are struggling when Teo can't even hit a low 90s fastball centre cut. That should of been crushed.
el duque Verified Member Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 nice Tapia-less line up, a new begining
frizzer1 Verified Member Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 nice Tapia-less line up, a new begining You prefer zimmer?
el duque Verified Member Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 You prefer zimmer?any body but Tapia, I just don't see any potential for improvement that soft swing from skinny arms
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 Ump has been good behind the plate so far
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 Who is this pitcher and what has he done with Berrios?
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 Orioles winning 4 - 2 against Yankees
jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 Well, at least Gerrit Cole is pitching s***** against the O's.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 Nice job Berrios, he's got the good stuff tonight, filthy slider.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 Matt Devlyn is awesome. The Vin Scully of this generation.
