So in a 20 Team H2H Off board Dynasty league I am in I made a fairly significant trade today.

 

I am 15th out of 20 this year even though I made the playoffs last year. I thought it was time to do a reboot, I am not into full rebuilds.

 

I wanted to bounce this trade off you guys before I did it, but one of the guys in the league reads this board.

 

However, trade is done now.

 

To set some context, I had Bryant for 3b but he is just hurt so much. I have Cron at 1b, but the cupboard is bare at 3b now and at 1b if Cron is out.

 

I traded Cole for Austin Riley, Josh Naylor and Daniel Lynch..

 

I still don’t know what to think to be honest..

I’ve always been a fanboy. I’m not sure I deal Cole for him though. Idk

It's not terrible but I don't think you got great value. Kind of fell victim to being on the wrong side of the ole 3-for-1. Need all 3 pieces to pan out. Guy getting getting Cole just needs him to not get hurt for a couple more years.

I have a probably irrational view of Cole as a guy with perfect mechanics who will keep dominating into his late 30s.

You should just be streaming good matchups and parks with both spots.

 

If you want to hold Manning in one spot for upside and stream spot #2 that's justifiable too.

Good advice. I think I'll do that then. I actually own Manning and Keller but I'll dump Keller and keep Manning and will look to stream for the other spots. Thanks.

Good park, tons of ground balls, works deep into games, good ERA. I’d consider rostering him and not just streaming

I have long term faith in Zach Thompson. I still have him in some leagues tried to keep him in others leagues but he fell victim to the roster crunch and his poor outings to start the year. Still think he will be good long term with high Ks, K/Bb etc if you can roster him.

Keep watch on Thompson, he's been improving since a couple of poor early outings
