Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 Nice effort Teo, that's inexcusable.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 literally every team they're facing is better at hitting risp so i cant even be impressed at this point lol
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 So we'll waste 2 seasons coddling Bo while hurting our team on the field because of Bo's feelings? Vladdy took his move like a champ and if Bo can't do the same then screw him. If you think he has a chance to be an average SS, you keep him there. Its not about feelings. Yankees tried Gleyber Torres at SS for a season and it didn’t work out. Same kinda situation with Bo except Torres looked a lot worse at SS so the move was easily justified. Like I said, Bo probably moves to 2B next year if he doesn’t improve.
BuckHenry Verified Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 These guys need a Billy Martin ass kicking .
Cynical Verified Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 The Jays need to stop shifting with RISP for the other team. The good teams are too smart and take advantage every time.

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 Bullpen has been f***ing awful with letting inherited base runners score. Totally bloating the starters’ ERA
Dagagad Verified Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 Will Montoyo get the memo? Doubt. Do other teams not shift in that situation?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 Devlin: Ji-Man Chow Atleast I have something to giggle at
Dagagad Verified Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 This bullpen isn’t good enough. I believe the offense will come around but I absolutely do not believe in this bullpen being any better than dead average at best. You can make the playoffs like that but it’s tough in this division.

Like I said, Bo probably moves to 2B next year if he doesn’t improve. But they tried Torres there because they had no other options. We have had better options each of the past 1.5 seasons. This is about our team really believing in him at SS or scared to hurt his feelings. Either way, it is hurting our team on the field. This is stuff you do when you're rebuilding, not trying to win a world series.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 4 pitches down the middle....no fear lol
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 If Springer is to miss anytime at all we should have Lukes up ASAP Hopefully just a game or 2
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 If Springer is to miss anytime at all we should have Lukes up ASAP You would think that would be a logical move.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 Yep, trying to hit 3 run HR with the bases empty.
BuckHenry Verified Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 Jays just are not a good hitting team ; wish they were …, but they aren’t .
BlueJays Verified Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 They should do another player only meeting
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2022 Author Posted May 14, 2022 we just need to win the next 2
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 95 down the middle...so close lol
Cynical Verified Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 The Rays play so smart. Their entire game is unselfish and team oriented. No wonder they win do much with less talent than other teams. Up 3, and pitcher just throws it down the middle and dares the hitters to hit it. Shift? Just punch it though with a short swing.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 I’ll be happy if they win 1. Start small...score 6+ and 10+ hits
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 It’s fine. Scoring runs and winning games is so overrated.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 Who is this idiot on the telecast who says he's never heard of Drew Rasmussen?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 It’s fine. Scoring runs and winning games is so overrated. Its just about having fun playing the game
